Steps To Connect To A WebEx Meeting. Please follow these steps to connect to a WebEx meeting.
Open your meeting invitation email and click on the Join The Meeting link. Please note your meeting password if there is one.
After the page is opened in your default web browser, please click the Join button.
Regardless of the web browser you're using (whether Firefox or Chrome or Internet Explorer), WebEx will offer to install an extension for you. Instead of doing that, please look for a link at the bottom of the page that mentions "Run a temporary application to join this meeting."
Clicking the "Run a temporary application" link will download a WebEx program to your computer. If you are asked for a place to save it, please save it to a temporary location such as your computer's Desktop. It will be safe to delete this program after the meeting.
Run the WebEx program that you've downloaded. Please click 'yes' to any prompt to allow this program to run. This will connect you to the meeting. You may still need to dial in via telephone to receive audio.
