You can block telephone numbers in your Virtual Office software by specifying a number pattern to block. For example, you can block all telephone numbers that start with “1626” to block all numbers in the area code “626” (Pasadena / Los Angeles). Unfortunately, we cannot block a number pattern on a company-wide basis, so this must be done individually.
We don't recommend doing this for any area code that's based in California, though, so please be more specific in the block rule for those instances. For example, use the caller’s full number and block “16265896156” instead. Here is a reference list for the geographical locations of area codes:

To begin blocking, please do the following:
- Open your Virtual Office software.
- Click on Virtual Office, then Settings.
- In the Settings screen, please click Call Forwarding.
- Click the blue Add New Rule button.

- Name your rule.
- Check the box labeled “Or any of the phone numbers listed below”.
- Paste in the phone number of the caller you want to block and click Add.
- Switch to the Forward To tab.

- Select Drop Call.
- Click OK and Save, then close the Settings screen.
